Grateful Friday

A reminder that gratitude is often found in the moments we slow down enough to notice

Discover something every day that you are grateful for, and slowly you begin to notice your life changing.

Our lives are filled with small moments that invite gratitude, but it’s easy to move too quickly to notice them.

When we pause and bring our attention to what’s here — something kind, something meaningful, something simple — a shift happens within us.

Yesterday, while teaching, I found myself pausing to truly take in one of my students as he practiced a posture we had been working on together.

It required him to draw his focus inward.

As I watched him soften into the experience with such presence and curiosity, something in me softened too.

I felt grateful not just to teach him, but to witness him.

Had I stayed in “teacher mode,” thinking about the next cue or the next posture, I might have missed that moment completely.

It reminded me that gratitude doesn’t only arrive through life’s big milestones.

Sometimes it’s found in the quiet moments:
spring flowers beginning to bloom,
a warm cup of tea,
a breath,
a shared moment of presence.

When gratitude arises, let yourself fully feel it.

Not just in your mind — but in your heart, your body, your spirit.

The more we notice what is already here, the more life begins to feel rich with meaning.

And little by little, the world becomes a little brighter.

Much love,
Lindsay
