Self-Love Meditation

Loving yourself is the greatest revolution.

We all could bring a little more self-love into your hearts.
When we are able to truly love ourselves, we are able to genuinely love others more fully and to open ourselves to receiving love.

All love starts with loving ourselves. If we do not love ourselves, then we cannot genuinely love others and we are closed off to receiving love. If our well is empty how can truly love others? It’s not selfish to love ourselves. Love already exists within us. We just lose touch with it and need to reconnect to it. When our well is full, we can touch others with our love.

We can start to connect to the love that rests deep within by starting our day with setting an intention of loving ourselves just a little bit more. When we set an intention of self-love, we are tapping into a quality that already exists inside of us, we just need to spend time connecting to and cultivating it.

As we practice and cultivate self-love, we bring it forward into our hearts. This ripples in us throughout the day. And, slowly, we begin to believe that we are love.So, today and everyday for the next two weeks practice this meditation of self-love. And remember, you are love.
