Returning to Yourself: Infinity Breath Meditation

It's okay if your strength looks different from day to day. Allow yourself permission to pause, take some quiet time, and listen to what you need. You are worthy of a long, slow, deep breath in and a gentle release out. You are worthy of connecting with the stillness within. You are worthy of loving yourself exactly as you are.

Self-care is about recognizing when you need to step back, take a break, and tend to your heart. We each respond to life’s challenges differently, and it's not selfish to take time for yourself. Instead, it's a necessity. We can't give from an empty well; we need to fill ourselves first to be there fully for others.

When I feel stressed or challenged, I tend to work harder, filling my days to the brim. On the surface, it feels productive, but deep down, my heart begins to feel worn. I've learned that it's in these moments that I most need to slow down. By taking a pause, I can find clarity, replenish my spirit, and reconnect to my purpose.

Try this meditation anytime you feel the need to return to yourself. Start by taking a long, slow, deep breath in, and as you release it, allow yourself to soften. Take another deep breath, even slower this time, and gently let it go. Now, let your breath flow naturally, observing the seamless connection between your inhale and exhale, like waves meeting the shore.

Imagine painting an infinity sign with your breath—a continuous, flowing ribbon of peace that goes on and on. Breathe here, in this quiet rhythm, for 5 to 10 minutes, allowing each breath to renew and nourish you.

"Keep taking time for yourself until you are you again."
