It's #GratefulFriday

Gratitude is available to you in each and every moment, no matter the circumstances. It is a feeling that bubbles up from deep within. It is not only an emotional response, it is a choice you can make. You can choose to be grateful for a situation or you can choose to be ungrateful. By making the choice to be thankful, we can switch our attitude instantly and feel more joy in our hearts.

Let's use this ancient Sanskrit mantra, Dhanya Vad {dahn-yah vahd}, to help us find gratitude in each moment. Dhanya Vad, which means I feel gratitude. When I'm grateful, I find grace. By looking for the blessings in my life, I open up a space of light in every experience; I open up the path for grace to flow. I make room in the middle of everything for gratitude. Repeat it out loud 3 times, then whisper it, and then repeat it silently to yourself over and over again. Feel the vibration of the mantra flow throughout your whole being. Stay in this space for 10 - 15 minutes.

When you feel stressed, practice breathing into your blessings until you're so full of gratitude that there's no room for anything else.

Gratitude is a habit of the heart. By practicing gratitude regularly, it helps to keep your heart more open even on the darkest of days.

Much Love,

Lindsay
