It is #GratefulFriday

It's #GratefulFriday

Gratitude can transform a dreary day into a day filled with light, turn sorrows into blessings, and change what you have into enough.

Scientific research shows that a daily gratitude practice of 20 seconds increases happiness, reduces anxiety and stress, boots our immune systems, reduces illness, and makes us more resilient. Who doesn't want more of this?!

So let's start today with this meditation where you will repeat a Sanskrit mantra for Gratitude. Sit comfortably and begin to follow your breath in and out. Begin to repeat the mantra, Ananda Hum {ah-nahn-dah hum}, gently and slowly. Ananda Hum means "I am bliss." "When I gladden my heart, I awaken the energy of gratitude. This energy uplifts and expands me. By opening my heart, I can feel gratitude deeply. Gratitude shifts the moment by shifting me. Nothing around me changes; I change." Continue repeating this mantra in for 10 - 15 minutes.

True gratitude comes from knowing that you belong in the infinite dance of life.

Much love.
