It is #GratefulFriday
It’s #GratefulFriday
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more.”
— Melody Beattie
Dear friends,
It’s #GratefulFriday—and I want to share a reflection.
So often we think of gratitude as an afterthought. A nicety. A polite phrase. But true gratitude is much more—it’s a transformational state of being.
Gratitude turns what little you have into abundance.
Even when life feels hard, uncertain, or heavy, gratitude can be an anchor. A daily habit of thankfulness can lift your emotional state, shift your mindset, and deepen your connection to life.
The American Psychological Association defines gratitude as “a sense of happiness and thankfulness in response to a fortunate happenstance or tangible gift.” But it can also become a lasting character trait—a lens through which you experience the world.
Today, I invite you to a short mantra meditation:
Kritajna Hum (krit-ah-nah hum) — a Sanskrit phrase that means “I am grateful.”
Repeat it aloud three times, then in a whisper, and finally silently to yourself. Stay in that quiet space for 10–15 minutes. Let the mantra gently open your awareness to the joy that already surrounds you.
By practicing gratitude each day, you begin to fall in love with the life you already have.
Thank you for being here.
Much love,
Lindsay
