It's #GratefulFriday

Remembering what we are grateful for opens us up to the wonders of the moment. Yet, it is all too easy to get caught up in the worries and stresses of our lives. Our lives are so busy that our minds become so cluttered, and we are not fully present. It can be difficult to even be aware of the present moment, let alone to be in it!

But we can become more present and less stressed by directing our attention toward all the blessings in our lives, the gifts in each moment, the kindness of someone, we can shift our mindset and our hearts begin to fill with gratitude. And in turn, we can appreciate the moment.

So, let's take a moment to shift our mindset with this meditation. When we meditate, we allow ourselves to connect to the quietness and gratitude in our hearts and we open ourselves up to receive and give gratitude. Begin to follow your breath in and follow your breath out. Continue to watch your breath. On your next inhale, breath in gratitude. On your next exhale, breathe out Love. Continue repeating this silently to yourself over and over. Stay here for 10 – 15 minutes.

Let’s finish our meditation by sitting for a moment and bring someone in our lives we are thankful for. Hold them in your heart. It may seem so simple, but we don't say thank you enough. When we send gratitude from our heart, our heart fills up and that energy flows out to the other. By sitting in gratitude for a few moments not only brightens our day but will overflow from our hearts to others.

Much Love,

Lindsay
