It's #GratefulFriday

Gratitude helps you fall in love with the life you already have. It helps you find the silver lining in the little things. It helps you to put the past to rest and find joy in the moment. ⁣⠀​​​​​​​​

⁣​​​​​​Whatever you draw your attention to becomes more powerful in your life.⁣ Instead of getting bogged down with the negative things going on in your life -the challenges, the stresses, the worries..... you can draw your attention to something you are grateful for and shift your mindset.

Finding gratitude when you are down and stressed can be really hard and seem impossible. But if you find one little thing that warms your heart, just a little, you can shift energy. It be as simple as smelling the aroma of your coffee as you make it and savoring your first sip, or noticing that someone smiled at you or held the door for you and feeling a sense of goodness in people, or sending a text to a friend to just check in and say hello and their happy response in return.

​​​​​​Happiness doesn't create gratitude. Gratitude helps you to find happiness. ​​​​​​​​If your attention is on the negative things in your life, than that is where your mind and energy go..​​​​​​​

But by spending a few moments bringing gratitude into your heart, you can more easily move through the challenges and stresses of your day and find happiness right there in front of you.

​​​​​​​​Let's meditate using this mantra to help us shift into a space of gratitude and to find more joy in our life. Repeat this mantra 3 times out loud, and the repeat it silently to yourself​​​​​​​​.

I am whole​​​​​​​​

I am loved​​​​​​​​

I am love​​​​​​​​

Stay here for 10 - 15 minutes. And then just let the vibration of gratitude flow into you and out of you.
