It is #GratefulFriday
It's #GratefulFriday
Gratitude is a universal presence available to each one of us in every given moment. It can be a feeling that bubbles up deep inside during a moment of thankfulness or it can be an intentional daily practice.
Being grateful is almost like sending a little love note to the Universe thanking it for all it brings. And by receiving that gratitude, the Universe is more likely to send that gratitude right back to you over and over again.
Gratitude makes us aware of the beauty and magic our lives, helps us to connect to the love we have for others and ourselves, turns what we have into enough, and reminds us that we are already whole.
These precious moments can seem at times inaccessible. However, if we consciously cultivate a feeling of gratitude at some point everyday, we can invite more grace and beauty into our lives. And it is almost as if the universe shines more light on the preciousness of our lives.
Meditation can be a powerful way to bring more positive experiences and abundance into our lives. It allows us to experience and welcome the universe in.
Let's try using this Sanskrit mantra, Kritajna Hum: I am gratitude {krit-ah-nah hum}, in our meditation today to cultivate gratitude in our lives today. Kritajna Hum means My true self is always grateful. I am connected with everything else in the universe. I am like an ocean -- the deeper I go within, the more I connect with the stillness of my true self. Gratitude is the beacon that guides me to that place where meaning, truth, and love exists. Repeat it out loud 3 times, then whisper it 3 times, and then repeat it silently to yourself over and over again. Stay here for 15 - 20 minutes.
Gratitude connects you to the joy that's hidden in plain view, patiently waiting to be seen.
Much Love,
Lindsay
