It is #GratefulFriday
It's #gratefulFriday⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When you are filled with doubt and fear and it feels like the world is caving in around you, practicing being thankful for the people in your life can help you to shift out of the craziness filling your head and into the love in your heart. It helps you to step away from the darkness, the fear, the worry, the negative inner dialogues and into the present moment where the only thing that exists is the feeling of gratitude you have for this one person.
Who are the people you are grateful for? The people who are there when you stumble, helping you back up, and pushing you back in. The people who see you. They are your greatness, your best version. They celebrate your magnificence. They love every part of you.
Let’s try it now. Close your eyes and begin to follow your breath in and out. And now draw into your mind’s eye a moment or conversation with one person in your life that stirred up a feeling of joy in your heart. Perhaps it was the way they smiled at you, something kind they said…. you felt held, seen, loved.... One moment when there was an energetic string connecting their heart to yours. As you inhale, try to allow yourself to feel, really feel, that warmth and gratitude that is bubbling up in your heart. And as you exhale, let the warmth overflow, and touch every cell in your being. Continue to feel the joy bubbling up in your heart with each inhale and with each exhale feel it overflow, kissing every cell in your body. Try to stay here for 10-15 minutes.
Before you open your eyes, notice how you feel. The feeling of joy, of appreciation of the other person, a glimpse of love for yourself. This feeling is always there waiting for you to tap into it.
Much Love,
Lindsay
