Remembering what we are grateful for opens us up to the wonders of the day. Yet, it is all too easy to get caught up in the worries and stresses of our lives. When we ca direct our attention toward all of the blessings in our lives, the gifts in each moment, the kindness of someone we can shift our mindset and our hearts begin to fill with gratitude and in turn, this overflows from us to others in our lives. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So let's start today. Try one of these gratitude practices everyday this week and notice how you feel. You'll not only shift your day, you'll indirectly help someone else to make their day a little bit brighter.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Meditate. When we meditate, we connect to the stillness and gratitude within and we open ourselves up to recieve and give gratitude from the Universe. Inhale gratitude. Exhale Love.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Find the present moment in letting go. Our lives are so busy that our minds become so cluttered. It can be difficult to even be aware of the present moment, let alone to be in it! Try this practice to help you declutter your mind and body and connect to the present moment. Stand in mountain pose with your hands in front of your heart for three breaths with your eyes closed. And now very, very slowly as you come into tree pose, with your hands in fronyt of your heart, keep your pelvis as steady as possible. You can keep your hands in front of your heart or slowly extend them up. Try to stay here for three or four breaths. Swtich. Come into childs pose for five or six breaths. And just notice.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Say thank you when you feel it. It may seem so simple but we don't say thank you enough. So the next time you feel it, from your heart say it and mean it - "Thank you!" When we say from our heart, our heart fills up and that energy flows out to the other, lifting their spirits and creating a connection. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
