It is #GratefulFriday
It’s #gratefulFriday
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our gratitude deepens when we are truly thankful for the life we have and for bieng alive.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Very often when we practice gratitude we count our blessings, are thankful for the people, places, and things in our lives. While it is imporatant to be thankful for the good things in our lives, true thankfulness comes from a deep understanding of the gift of simply being alive, no matter the cicumstances. When we can feel gratitude for this gift of life, we can acknlowedge the purity of the experience of being.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our lives are so busy. We get caught up in the ebbs and flows and twists and turns of life, that we miss the magic of of being alive. If we only feel gratitude for something good that happens to us, this is not true thanfulness. Thankfulness comes from appreciating this very moment, from the life that we already have with all of it's pains and glories. We don't need to wait for illness, tragedy, the loss of a loved one to be grateful for being alive.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We can start by being grateful for this moment, for this breath. When we practice gratitude on a daily basis it helps us to see the wonders in life, the beauty of being alive. All we need to do is to pause and take a long, slow, deep breath in and gently let it go. Feel the warmth of your breath as it flows in. Feel the warmth of your breath as it flows back out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Much Love,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
