Live for the little things in life.
Live for the 5 am sunrises and 5 pm sunsets where you will see the most magnificent colors in the sky.
Live for walks on the beach with the wind in your hair and warm sun on your skin.
Live for times when you are surrounded by your favorite people who get you and help you to realize that the world is not a cold and harsh place.
Live for the little things because they become the big things and help you to truly see what it is life is about.
Today let's choose gratitude for all the little things in life that bring love and joy into your heart.
To help you discover these little moments try this Sanskrit mantra meditation - OM VARADAYA NAMAHA (Ohm-Vara-die-ah Na-ma-ha). This is the Ganesha mantra to remove obstacles to feeling more gratitude in one's life. Ganesha, the chubby, gentle, wise, elephant-headed Hindu God. He is is the remover of obstacles, the god of beginnings. Try repeating the mantra 3 times out loud, then whisper it three times, and then silently repeat it to yourself over and over. Allow the vibration of the mantra to wash over your whole being. Try to stay in this space for 10 - 15 minutes.
